Critical Thinking and Media Literacy In today's digital environment, critical thinking and media literacy are crucial, not just desirable. Information overload, often biased or false, requires keen analysis. Critical thinking allows us to actively question and evaluate information. Media literacy teaches us to understand the media, its biases, and the reliability of sources. Without these skills, we are vulnerable to manipulation and misinformation. They foster intellectual independence and thoughtful civic participation, essential for democracy and personal empowerment. They transform us into informed consumers, not passive recipients.

CRIME AND PUNISHMENT

CRIME AND PUNISHMENT by Fyodor Dostoevsky Crime and Punishment is an intense portrait of guilt and redemption. Dostoevsky dismantles the illusion of individual moral superiority, showing how crime, no matter how justified, unleashes an internal punishment more cruel than any legal sentence: a tormented conscience. Love, faith, and compassion, embodied in Sonya, emerge as possible paths to salvation. The grim and oppressive city of St. Petersburg reflects the social misery and psychological isolation of the protagonist, underscoring that only suffering accepted with humility can lead to true repentance.
